One of the better in the series

This was a good finale to the series (unfortunately the author passed away last year). I felt some closure to the story, which I was hoping for because I was afraid that these books would continue to get more and more outlandish. I highly recommend this series, it's a fun read and definitely kept my attention. This could be a stand alone book, but I would suggest reading The Stillhouse Lake series in order.

Loved this series

I went to see when a sixth book would be coming out and found Rachel has passed from her battle with cancer. I loved these books. They got me through many a boring day. I'm so glad to have found her books. May she RIP

A twist filled story line

Loved it! The twists kept me intrigued & made me want to know the ending.

Good

Not the best of the series but still a “page turner”. The characters are personable and you root for them. The series was fantastic.

I love Rachel Caine

I have read almost everything she's written, but I think this series should have been over about 3 books ago. There was no reason to continue the story after the X was dead, because rehashing the Gwen haters club over and over again was old.

I sure hope this isn't the end of the series

I love this series, so I sure hope another worthy author picks it up and continues it.

And when they do, I hope they acknowledge that it's not necessary to outdo the action, brutality and insanity of the previous book.

Instead of leveling up, why not switch it up? Exchange amped up ridiculousness for a more cerebral battle? Our characters seem up for the challenge.

I have enjoyed these books more than I ever thought I could. I loved it broken down into each character and became those characters. I felt everything that they felt it was really well written! Thank you.
