Just Gets Better with Each Passing Chapter

Col Fleming is a great storyteller and shares vivid depictions of his most challenging rescues. He also offers lessons on leadership and decision-making during times of crisis. And he does a great job of putting the events in context, with respect to world events at the time and also the narrative of his life and career.

I was a little put off by the performance at the beginning. I prefer narrators with more inflection and feeling in their reading, but I got used to it fairly quickly and in the end it didn’t affect my enjoyment of the book.
