Consistent voices for the characters. He is my favorite performer.

Ashley. She is a tough and smart woman.

The characters will captivate you and keep you wanting to know more about them, the story line keeps you guessing as to who done it all the while drawing you in more to fall in love with the characters!

I have read the story and the narrator had a pleasing voice to draw you into the story.

The continuation from the first story with the same characters.

No but looking forward to the next one.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and almost did!

Not usually a romance enthusiasts, but

Received the romance package as a gift. I'm usually a suspense fan, however I received the romance package as a gift and it is terrific! These Heather Graham novels are really good. I don't like romance that is essentially porn, they embarrass me. These are historical fiction, suspense and a just a bit of sizzle. Heather Graham has earned a new fan in me! Excellent author.

Good up until the end

I got this title primarily due to Luke Daniels narration, and also for the Halloween sale.

I was hoping for a good and spooky tale with the title being Heart of Evil. Unfortunately, it was more of a romantic thriller, where the only evil was that of the common man. (No spoilers, it’s obvious almost from the beginning).

It was pretty good, until the killer was revealed, caught in one chapter, then we are rushed straight into the epilogue.

I was planning to continue the series, but now I’m completely turned off from the even getting the next book.

Great ghost story, better love story!

I loved the spin-off story with Jake and Ashley. This was almost historical, with the detailed accounts of history during the Civil War with reenactments. I enjoyed the suspense and pacing. But more than all of it, I thought it was a good love story between the living and the dead.

Wonderful spooky entertainment

I am loving Heather Graham's Krewe of Hunters series. I love a good ghost hunt and the way Heather combines that with modern crime is fabulous. Luke Daniels is a gifted narrator and I always enjoy his performances.
