However, being in her feelings about her past, she was not interested and let him know that he was wasting his time.

Zaid has trust issues as well. From his absent father to his disloyal lady. He too didn't care to be in a relationship until Stoney caught his eye. It was something about her wild hair with the personality to match that drew him in. Zaid made up in his mind that she would be his no matter what.
But will Stoney be able to open her heart and allow Zaid to treat her the way she should be treated? Or will she miss out on the opportunity to experience true love, by keeping her mind in the past?

A really good story

The story itself was great. I know a lot of people hop on the virtual voice thing but I increased the speed to 1.5 and it made it so much better. Now back to the review. When 2 people can find love despite feeling betrayed by others, it's just a beautiful experience. I also loved each family and how they loved and cared for one another.

Please redo this audio with an actual voice actor!!

I was really looking forward to this book and honestly really enjoyed the story itself. The virtual voice acting however was pretty bad. It gets a bit better if you speed it up but still pretty bad and super cringe especially during the romantic scenes. Please redo this audio with a voice actor!
