Yes, if you are a man or a woman and looking to build any type of friendship, relationship or get married. This is an great pep talk for the mind and soul.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Young Jakes and the rock that his father was able to save him from only to understand...well I'm telling to much.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Jakes was young listening to the old pastor talk in reference to the story of David.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Could have cried from the reflection I've took from reading that only built me to become better. As like David in the Bible I had to see myself as myself and want a change.

Overall, great read.

Not entirely accurate

The audio book is good, however not accurate to the actual book. It skips way too many important parts of the actual book. For anyone trying to study this book, really get the hard copy and not the audio book.

Thought provoking book for all men

This book provides valuable knowledge to the individual that seeking to understand more about self and desiring to build closer relationship to God and man. I would recommend taking notes and/or replaying chapters to absorb most of the content. This book spoke to my Soul and challenged me to be better and made me aware of my weaknesses as well as strengths. It helped me to begin creating an action plan for becoming a better person for God, Family, and Friends.

Real Talk For Men Good Soul Food!

This book spoke to my inner thoughts and brought revelation to my spirit. This book is a must have to any man who dares to see the real man in the mirror and desires to be a real man of God!

Wish He Had Gone Deeper, but Really Good

If you could sum up He-Motions in three words, what would they be?

I felt like he touched on a lot of stuff but didn't explore it and go deep enough like I would have liked. I really was hoping after it was over, that there was more. It felt like the entire book nearly was an introduction and we were going to get to the answers, reveal some stuff that I'm searching for answers to, but it just ended. I do recommend, with that said, that men read it. You will gain and benefit a lot from it!

I am still listening but I have learned so much so far about how men's emotions have a so much with they behave in their relationships and ultimately themselves.
