What an unexpected twist!

This was a surprisingly amazing listen! I loved this book. I could not stop listening. I listened to the entire book in one day! You will be blown away when hear the twist!

All consuming

The tears I sobbed for the child in this story. Dear Gussy, I couldn’t function or do anything until I finished this book. Every fear and heartbreak was my own. Amazingly written and I think it will haunt me forever. 10000/10.

Hooked from the very beginning!!

Probably one of my favorite books I’ve listened to. Hooked from the first minute. Narration is smooth. The book navigates seamlessly.

Excellent twist

I thought this book was well written. The twist was great. It really got me and I love when that happens. The narrator's voice was too lackadaisical for such a subject but increasing the speed to 1.10 really helped

Captivating

Good performance and writing. I liked how it told a story of tragic, horrific events without the swearing smut.

It’s ok…

This book will keep you interested; however, it is so unreasonable at times it makes it hard to suspend your disbelief. None of what happened makes any sense and everything that happens is a little too convenient to make the plot work. If you want an easy listen and you’re able to ignore everything problematic, it’s a decent listen.

Couldn’t stop listening. So many twists and turns right to the last chapter. Looking for another by author

not what I expected

I don't normally listen to books like this, however the plot caught my attention, the culprit was not who I expected it to be and the prologue made me tear up. very rarely do I get emotional when I read books but this one hit a soft spot. the narrator was phenomenal I wish there was more books like this that she narrated.

Great read

One of the best I’ve listened to in awhile. Lots of twists and turns. I highly recommend.
