I Need Book 3

This series continues to surprise me with its unique plot and possibly the slowest burn romance I have ever read.

I think I enjoyed this even more than book 1. Everything I enjoyed from Only Mostly Dead was continued and added onto. From the first word until the last, I didn't see the next twist coming. The whole cast of characters had great growth arcs and we even got some new unforgettable characters. The ending of Hate to Haunt You will continue to haunt me until book 3 because I have questions that need answers. Books that easily make me laugh and smile are really something special and Afterlife Incorporated does it effortlessly. If you were on the fence about how you felt about Amber in book 1 let book 2 make you appreciate the hard choices she continues to make in death. I'm so invested in seeing this romance finally romance!

Emily Lawrence continues to be amazing, and I really hope she is back to narrate Vacation From Hell because I can't imagine any one else doing the character voices now.

Absolutely, 100% worth the wait

I just finished this book after waiting several months for it to be published. It was entirely worth the wait! The characters’ voices were resumed perfectly by the narrator, but the real gem was the story itself. The deepening connections, the growing and changing relationships, the poignant and meaningful depiction of the grief we feel over loss were all so vibrant and realistically rendered. One of the aspects of the story I like very much is how much the MC grows and learns during her afterlife journey and how others whose lives (afterlives?) she touches begin to grow and learn as well. The story is told with humor and heart and felt like a warm hug even when I was sobbing, and it had a happy ending which is a must for me. It truly would have been irredeemable if Winston hadn’t made it (after a fashion, anyway). I’d give this sequel ten stars if I could. Great job, Alli, truly.

🎙️ I am a MASSIVE fan of Emily Lawrence, she is The Best!! It really does sound like a full cast audio when she narrates books 🥰 I loved the audio of Book 1, and Book 2 is just as amazing!! We meet new characters in Book 2, and I love how we get even more new voices! What can’t Emily do??

🎭 Hate To Haunt You is DRAMATIC. There is SO MUCH going on - we pick up where Book 1 ends, but *SPOILERS*. 👀 I didn’t want to give away spoilers - but all the gasps I gusped 🤯 especially all that happens in the last… maybe third? 🫢 There’s A LOT to experience in this book - such an exciting read!

😩 Needless to say, I need Book 3 now!!! 🥺 Someone, read Books 1 & 2 so we can wallow together while we wait for Vacation From Hell (Book 3)!
