Lt. Colonel Harky is a man with no past. Honorably discharged leads to being the Enforcer he was trained to be for his Club, but the Club is not ready for Harky. Being one of the elite Marine Raider’s, Harky adjusts, adapts and overcomes, ending at new Clubs in NM.
Sgt. Piper Lane is one of 4 women that made the Raider Unit. Military isn’t easy, but Marines deal and Piper deals with a crush on the elusive, mysterious Harky. When he’s discharged, she finds herself with his war dog for a mission that has the potential to break them both.
Harky plans, adjusts and adapts.

Harky and Piper are one of my favorite couples.

Axton Harky, former Lt Colonel, Marine Raider, a sniper and dog handler. He found his way to Bad Ass and then to BSC West after separation from the military, finding his old club lacking. A trainer for the clubs out of Rising2. He has found his home
Sargent Piper Lane, is one of the few females to make Marine Raiders, A dog handler and trainer. She and Harky crossed paths from time to time.
Harky receives a call from one of his former team members, his dog Zeus is slated for retirement, and Harky wants him. Piper had relayed some concerning details, that smack of CIA, and Bit like genetic tampering.
Piper and Zeus' last mission ended in betrayal, both severally injured. The are rescue by the Delta team they were to support. Then betrayed again when they get back to base. She and Zeus are now safe in the hands to BSC West and under the care of Harky.
Zeus was an exceptional ops dog, What every was done to him has made him smarter, stronger, larger and with a longer life span. Piper says he is human. There are more dogs out there just like Zeus. BSC is out to find them all. Harky and Zeus show the brothers what an asset a well trained dog can be to the brotherhood.
Piper is Harky's. Cort and Alder saw it when they rescued her. Justice, Aylen, confirmed. Piper was shattered by the betrayals and Harky is watching for that bad ass Marine she was, who is slowly coming back, it doesn't take Harky long to stake his claim. Their new family in Bad Ass is going to make sure that they know they are where they belong.
Harky with Piper now have a new job, Harky is now the Pres of a club with in a club. He and Piper are training the enhanced dogs. They have the daunting task of finding new homes for retired war dogs. Steve Knight comes to help. He quietly has Pipers back as she finds her way back to bad ass.
Fast paced, a little steamy, Harky and Piper are one of my favorite couples. Love the dogs. Hoping to see my other favorites Falcon and Solei, Brantley and Holly, Ricky and Elizabeth. Just bought Pres, Love Ben James, Kate and Danny's story.
