Hannah Blaine returns to her hometown of Louisville, broken and needing to heal after the tragic death of her husband. While there she meets biker Hollis Ackers, a man also marked by the pain of losing someone close to him. Can two lost souls come together, and can Hannah really take a second chance on love.
The way Terra Kelly portrays the soul wrenching pain of Hannah's loss and the stages of grief make you feel like you are going through them with her. I was sucked into Hannah's emotional rollercoaster from page one and I found her songs especially moving. This was also very much a story of hope and taking a chance on love again. The romance between Hannah and Hollis was a joy to read, it was not rushed, they had great chemistry and I loved their journey. Hannah and Hollis have got to be two of my favourite characters so far and I hope to see more of them in future books. Hannah's Story had it all, love, loss, second chance romance, suspense and heat. Grab a box of tissues and settle in, you will not want to put this emotional rollercoaster down! Terra Kelly changed her writing style for this book and it is the best she has written, I definitely found it helped it flow better and made me feel more connected to the story.

Tanya Eby was a fantastic choice of narrator and did a great job. She really did justice to Hannah's Story.

4.5 Beautifully Emotional Stars!

Hannah's Story was a beautiful and emotional tale of second chances at life and love. Hannah lost the will to live life after the tragic loss of her husband and parents. She lost contact with her Aunt and friends, as she just 'existed'. She now wants to be the fun loving woman she used to be. So she heads back to her hometown of Louisville to reconnect and pursue her love of music and a music career. Her poetic songs reflect her wounded soul. She soon resonates to her audience and begins to attract a following, including the gruff and closed off biker, Hollis. Hollis is broken as well and in search of something he thinks the local bike club will give him, until he meets Hannah. They didn't start off on the best of terms but feel a fiery chemistry that draws them to each other. I liked that they are mature adults and that their relationship starts slow making their growth and healing feel honest and genuine.
I really enjoyed the narrator, Tanya Eby. She set each scene perfectly, her inflections were spot on, and she drew me in completely. This quick emotional story has great banter, sensual passion, and several plot twists that add tension and suspense. I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook and will definitely look for more from Ms. Kelly.

Just okay

This was an okay book. There was some repetition that got on my nerves. I never understood why someone in a biker group would want to kill someone for dating a member of the group. There were some very unrealistic things in the story. But overall it was okay. I feel it could’ve been better. It had good potential. I didn’t hate it, but didn’t love it either.

Second chance for love

Hannah's husband was killed in front of her. She decides to home after being gone for 15 years. She meets Hollis and at first they don't get along and then they start getting to know each other. Will Hollis be Hannah's second chance for love? I liked this story and Tanya Eby's narration.
