Quick little listen that’s sweet and steamy

Loved the chemistry of the narrators, Winters and Knight. I will be finding more of their productions! The story is super relatable: marriage, toddlers, hosting family during the holidays and all the stress that comes with it can make life…hard. Finding time to connect as a couple (and share your “wants”) is the icing on the sugar cookie in this novella.

Halfway Through the Holidays offers a heartwarming exploration of love, marriage, and the often chaotic reality of family life. The story of Corinne and Tyler feels incredibly authentic, with moments of humor and exasperation woven into the fabric of raising kids, caring for pets, dealing with extended family, and navigating the holiday season. Corinne wanting to be more than a mom with Tyler was relatable, as were his somewhat clumsy attempts to fix things. The narration by Daphne Winters and Dameon Knight brings the characters to life in such a way that the emotions felt more lifelike.

This is small-town romance at its finest, with warmth, second chances, and just enough spice. This is the type of book that reminds you how complicated love can be, and how worth the effort it is when two people fight to find their way back to each other.

Quick Steamy Read for the Holiday Season

This was such a nice little read during the holiday times. It was really well written. I could feel Corrine stress and how even though she loved Tyler, she just wanted to shake him. I wanted to smack him though he was trying. As a mom myself, I really felt for Corrine after having kids you realize you aren't a hot 19-20 year old anymore. It sucks and can be hard to get through to love your new body. I would love to see more of these two characters. They were really good.

Short, Cute, and A little bit of spice

My husband listened with me. Corrine and Tyler are relatable characters (sometimes you just can’t ever seem to do the right thing). Good balance of story line and hints of humor; we both laughed throughout. Easy listen for right before the holidays.
