Halfmoon on the Mississippi Book Two continues the adventures of Robert Flint, and Joshua Wells in the year 1804 along the Mississippi and Missouri rivers just before Lewis and Clark begin their westward exploration. Here Robert and Joshua would plan, and accomplish all that they had dreamed. St. Louis was nothing but a few tents and cabins: the gateway to the West. America would begin here, and so would Lewis and Clark. Robert and Joshua would have adventure after adventure trying to establish the first keelboat service north of New Orleans where the slave trade and the plantations that they all hated would grow.
