After the events of the first book, Gladys takes a plane home for a vacation with her cousin. But it wasn’t to be. She’s dragged into a baking contest and a murder! A fun cozy read! Story and narration are both good!

Fun listen

This was a fun listen. When all Gladys wanted was a relaxing time away but she ended up getting trouble of all types. You will not be disappointed in listening to this book. I received a copy for an honest review.

Spirited Gladys gets herself in the thick of things again in this second book in the series. She’s heading to her hometown in Texas for some rest and relaxation. Her cousin gets her involved in more than she expects. Next thing she knows, she’s in a baking contest and another murder has happened. Gladys’s humor and trouble making tendencies are fun to read.
