Resumen del Editor

Welcome to the wonderful world of hacking, a seemingly magical world, crafted out of the heart of mystery and wonder, but an oh so very real world where those who hesitate for even just a moment end up in very deep doo-doo, and only the elite have what it takes to survive!

Somewhat accurate

This book does paint a decent picture as far as steps to take. It mentions Ubuntu Linux which is a good operating system. I won't argue that. Kali Linux is what I use and is extremely used in the hacking community and very well known and extremely easy to understand. A programming language is pretty useful to know but a requirement? Not so much. Just a basic understanding of a operating system designed for hacking is what is mainly needed. If your getting into hacking, read this book but don't follow every single step. There are tons of resources on the web. Other than that, this book is useful. Good buy

Hacker appearance

I have learned from this book that I can’t have yellow purple or pink hair if I want to become a hacker.

This book is satire

5 out of 29 minutes dedicated to why you need fingerless gloves to be an “elite hacker.” FYI

unhelpful ebook mocks hackers n hacking culture

This "book" doesn't say anything about hacking, really, it just tells you how cool you'll be if you buy other book... and learn how to hack from someone else, but not from this book-- this book will not tell you anything. It'll just tell you how cool you'll be if you buy a hoodie or something. it's like 5 or 10 pages, or, it feels like it. it goes into no actual detail about HOW to do anything you'd want from a book with this title. it literally takes advantage of ppl who who bought a book without reading enough reviews of it. well, shame on me, but the guy who made this book is just a whore trying to trick you. Bought this years ago with some free coupon, and i looked through my 'library,' and saw and remembered this bs, figured I'd give an honest review. this guy is not a hacker. i kinda wonder if he even owns a computer. It's like he saw the first Hackers movie and got inspired, but not enough to learn how to use a computer, just enough enough to think hackers are stupid. and that's really irritating. I've met enough hackers to know that most of them are DEFINITELY NOT STUPID.

This is the worst book on hacking, ever.

This book seems like it was written by a teenager who wants to be a hacker and watched too many movies. It doesn't discuss how to actually do anything and the recommendations it provides are almost totally wrong. It claims that C and C++ are advanced difficult to learn languages and that the best operating system to use is Ubuntu. It also claims that stack overflow is a site almost specifically for hackers. Best of all it has the most chapters about discussing how hackers should dress, spoiler, all black with fingerless gloves. This can't be serious...

Absolute waste of time

A whole chapter on how to dress like a hacker are you kidding me. what to do if a black hat hacker comes trying to turn you? I thought it would have a little bit of crap but this author pretty much puked out a bunch of nonsense and you guys made it a book. All i was wanted was some knowledge not to be told how live my life and to watch out for the darkside.
