Surfing pro Frank Sparks has spent his life walking on water. A competition favorite, he's not in it for the money, or the rush; he's in it for love. But family ties and the bonds of love tangle into double crosses that confound Frank - as he rips toward a constantly shifting shoreline on a wave that threatens to wipe him out.
