intriguing story!!

I enjoyed the novel. The characters were relatable. Timeless subject especially in Me2 era. great read.

Kept me listening

I did not know what to expect from this audiobook when I started it. After reading the reviews on the ebook I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. There came a point where I was not able to stop listening. I wanted to know what was going to happen next. This was a good story. I think the narrator did a good job reading the book. I was able to visualize the entire story.

OUTSTANDING NARRATOR

This book kept me listening and I wanted more! The narrator made the difference with voice and great production quality!
I think the writer knew how to hold the audience. If you like thrillers , this is the one that will hook you for 7 some odd hours!
I guarantee this narrator can tell a great story with a superb author . I want another book like this to entertain me!

Suspense and Twists

Enjoyed the suspense, especially the midnight trial and the kitchen scene. Highly recommended this one.

Guilty Indeed!

I began listening while cleaning the house, but I kept finding myself staring off imagining the scenes of the book. The author does an amazing job of keeping you on your toes so you can't guess what (or should I say who) is coming next. Not everyone is who you think they are, but you can be sure that someone is guilty. I enjoyed the narrators portrayal of each character and the many emotions they feel. Well worth the read.

Thriller full of unexpected twists and turns......

Guilty is a very exciting and suspenseful novel about how an evil rapist is finally brought to justice. The book starts with the rapist, a former professional football player now working as a high school football coach, being found not guilty of the rape of a cheerleader at his school. The author proceeds to introduce several characters and story lines that she seamlessly winds together to finally get justice/vengeance for the victims of the coach. Along the way, the reader gets insight into the lives of several of the small town characters and a true sense of the overall goodness of these town folks. With a great use of foreshadowing, the author adds just the right level of creepiness that keeps you listening in anticipation but doesn't get too scary or graphic in violence.

Beisner's narration was perfect for this story. He has a deep, resonant voice that added to the overall suspense and intrigue of the story. My only complaint was that he occasionally had long pauses in strange places, then over-emphasized the next phrase. Overall, his performance was great and added to my enjoyment of the listen.

Very enjoyable story

This story captured my interest from the beginning. It was full of suspense, and most importantly, it was a story with meaning.

Injustice

Coach Terrence Jackson, the very well-liked and respected coach at a high school was found not guilty of raping Rose, a student at the school. She is also the girlfriend of his son Jason. Rose and her family are crushed by the injustice which has taken place. The detectives on the case are also infuriated and dig deeper. An unexpected twist evolves when a victim support counselor enters the picture. The plot, characters and subject matter were well developed. The narration was well done and I would recommend this book to all. I look forward to other books by this author. I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I LIVE

This heart wrenching story of a young lady who was raped by her boyfriend's father, who not only raped her and impregnated her, but also had raped many other young women/girls, but Rose Canter was the only one brave enough to come forward and tried to get justice through the court system. When the perpetrator is found not guilty, due to him being a successful coach of the local high school football team, other women begin to tell their stories until justice will be served.

This book was very intriguing and am looking forward to more of this series.

The narrator had a great speaking voice and feel that once he has proper equipment, where the sound quality is not as bad, he will be fantastic at narrating novels.

Not guilty doesn’t always mean not guilty!

This is a great book about a town torn apart how people based on nothing believe in someone it’s also about revenge abuse right basically the ugly part of our society. Just know their triggers in the story does The ending is great the narrator is awesome. If you like true crime or true crime fiction get this book.
