An accessible journey from addiction to sobriety

A quick and easy read, that shows how change is possible for anyone. This true account of the author's journey from active addiction to a college professor, PhD holder and founder if a recovery center is inspiring. The message that is repeated at the end of virtually every chapter: change is possible. I really enjoyed this book.

Hope and perseverance

I appreciate how relatable David's life has been to mine in its own ways. It gives me an enormous amount of hope, that, if I stay persistent, believe in myself, always keep setting new goals and reaching new ones I too, could achieve peace, self confidence, respect and a life beyond my wildest dreams.
