Summer’s arrived and all appears serene in Creighton Manor, the pricey and exclusive suburb north of San Francisco. The Pemberly Oaks School is closed for the summer. Its hard working staff members are taking well-deserved vacations, although one has decided to unwind a bit too much, with disastrous consequences. For some residents love is in the air; while for others love’s path is anything but smooth. Meanwhile, Chandler Treadwell, a phenomenally successful investment manager, has wealth, looks and social status.
