This book takes us back to the Early Years from 1878 throughout the 1800’s with some special insights, and into the 20th century. It takes us to the first Black professional baseball game, first Black All Star game, and first Black World Series. Gives a history of the various Black Leagues, and the Black Players, and the Latin Connection. A look back into the early history of Black Afro American baseball in the Negro Leagues. The precious memories of the early years from about the 1880’s to integration, to today. Hundreds of Black baseball teams were formed during and after the Reconstruction Period following the Civil War and Emancipation. Blacks formed their own teams and leagues in the early years due to segregation, and endured obstacles, and made tremendous sacrifices in order to play the game of baseball they loved.
