Southern Accents in Michigan?

The narrator spoke clearly, the story was really good. It bothered me that the narrator kept slipping into a Southern accent when Michigan accents are NKT Southern, much more Swedish-like lilt and O'a and ah's. It bothered me.

Good But...

I like this series and the characters. However, this book was a bit annoying. There was too much romance and too much bickering between the characters. There wasn't enough mystery to balance the romance. I hope the next book has a better balance.
