My name is Medley Bell, and if you had told me this time last week that I was demon, then I’d have said you were nuttier than a squirrel turd.
Of course, that was before I started seeing the strangest things. I’ve always been a little off, but it took stumbling into a backwater bar to understand how different I really am.
So when two drool-worthy guys stop by to tell me that I’m Hell spawn just like them, I’m more relieved than shocked. I mean, it sure does explain a lot.
Now, I just have to convince my mama and daddy that they can’t come with me on my first trip to Hell, deal with a hellish biological family I never knew I had, and keep from getting kidnapped by some weird Morax fella with snakes for hair.
Things are about to get crazy around here. I guess it’s a good thing I like that.

Hell yeah!
I really enjoyed the pace of this book and the way it tied in the characters from previous books. Fun listen with decent spice. Will continue on in the series. I so wish there were multiple voice actors, but I’m enjoying the quality of the one!

What I enjoyed: TODD! Medley's parents, and overall, I liked that in this story the main character was much more accepting of what was happening to her. I understand that this is FICTION, but in the first couple books, Delta was just sooo much more "I can't handle this". I liked that Medley was more "let's do this!" Narrator: eh. She mispronounces some words here and there, and the men's voices are not different enough IMO. There are other female narrators who handle men's voices much better. These voices were somewhat the same throughout, which was a bit confusing at times. If you like this series, check out the Darynda Jones's "Charley Davidson" series, Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs, Prof Croft series by Brad Magnarella, and Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. All have great stories, and great narration!

I want my own Todd
I immediately like Medley with her adorable accent and her tenacity. She takes everything in stride and takes on her role and ever changing day to day life of finding out who she really is. True to form Kennedy and Asher made this book impossible to put down with the incredible world building, sexy times and enough laughs to put you in tears. I can’t wait to meet Sable and see how everything comes together.
