Resumen del Editor

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 outlawed discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin, required equal access to public places and employment, and enforced desegregation of schools and the right to vote. Today, the Black community faces an alarming education gap, a higher rate of unemployment/underemployment, and inequalities in the criminal justice system. A Black agenda or strategy is necessary to reverse these critical issues on a national level through public policy such as major reform in the areas of education, employment, and criminal justice.

It is a good story.

It is a good story, but one that I have heard before. I am a 49 year old Black Man in America. I have heard this story and similar stories over the course of my life. Don't get me wrong, the information and the stories are good and the the path that we as a people need to take. But it takes money unfortunately to get started and to continue. If every Black Man and Woman who is doing better financially than the so called middle class Black Man or Woman, should put 1% of their net worth and 1% of their business profits in a national pot. This money would go to our communities to help with job training, educating our children from preschool to 12th grade. Help to create Black owned and operated businesses. And the new Black owned businesses would also add to the pot. This way we don't have to wait on the state and city officials to pass law's that would benefit US. No one person would be in control. It would be a committee of people from each community. I have to much to say so this is my idea . I am willing, WHAT ABOUT YOU.
