The Atlanta Radio Theatre Company takes the listener on a nostalgic, homespun journey into the American heartland as imagined by Daniel Taylor. With rooster crows, bird calls, and several performers, the listener is transported to a public porch in a small town, where Grandpa Fred is struggling with a troublesome memory. In a comically satisfying conversation, Fred’s old friend recounts a particularly racy photo session during the war years when Fred’s wife was eagerly awaiting his return from the front.
