More please!

I want more, for my kids and for myself! I do wish there was a bit more detail in the vignettes, especially about the smells of the ocean or woods or wherever. Still, lovely.

my childhood favorite still helps me

I used to listen to this on cassette every night as a kid so it's crazy to find it on audible and it still hits perfectly after a long hard day of work plus house plus kids and pets I love falling asleep to Jim wiess storytelling magical places with no grocery list or laundry or dinner to plan and great that I can listen with my kiddo too he like the tree house the most.

Nostalgia at its finest

Such a gem. Growing up my family listened to this all the time. Back in the early 90s, it was on cassette, but it has been a couple decades since we lost the physical version. I am thrilled to see that it found its way onto audible. Highly recommend.

Soothing

I love his voice. This is a very soothing book to listen to if you or your kids want to fall asleep.

Second generation for our family!

I can remember falling asleep to these stories as I listened to them with my children. Now that I’m a grandma, I couldn’t wait to share these with my little ones. They love them! In this age of technology Jim’s stories stir the imagination and take children to special and cozy places in their minds. His voice is so soothing and his delivery impeccable. Every young family should have these recordings!

Best bedtime stories ever

These aren’t really stories, there isn’t much plot, they are visual meditations that capture the imagination and then sooth, calm, and bring the child to sleep. The visuals are beautiful, magical yet relaxing. Weiss’ voice is perfect. He’s not trying to sound like he’s speaking to children, which typically has an annoying, forced affect, but is merely gentle while engaging. We love these!

This is magic for bedtime

3 rambunctious little boys - bedtime can be crazy. I put a speaker in their room, turned this on, and they were spellbound. It did the trick, sent them off to dreamland quickly. They insisted on listening to it again for several nights. Now, if they have a hard time sleeping or feel scared, this is the best for helping them settle down. Jim Weiss is the perfect voice.
