Alaskan Adventure

I really liked The Gold Miner’s Daughter. As an Alaskan, it was great to see a story set in Alaska. The author really nailed the feel of the place and the people. The characters are fun, interesting, and a little quirky in that Alaskan way. I listened to the AI narrated version, and it was surprisingly good. Most of the pronunciations were right though it had a little trouble with a few Alaska specific words (can’t blame it there). Overall, it didn’t distract from the story and was an enjoyable listen. If you your looking for something specifically about Alaska or just want a story with a lot of heart and personality, I recommend this one.
