Most men, on some level are "mechanically inclined" and have minds and hands that can repair, restore, and program just about any kind of machine, car, computer... or boat motor.
The problem they face today is in "reading the directions", men today have turned away from reading in general, and more specifically have turned away from reading their Bible.
By using a personal, vintage boat motor repair project, as the backdrop story, I hope to show men that reading in general and specifically reading their Bible, is a necessity.
ESPECIALLY if they are going through the new spiritual experience of "being made alive" by Jesus Christ.
My hope is that this book, GOD'S WORD Mechanically Speaking, will help that person who is being made alive... get into God's written word... The Bible... and learn for themselves The Good News of Jesus Christ.
