In God's Battle Plan for the Mind, pastor David Saxton seeks to convince God's people of the absolute necessity for personal meditation and motivate them to begin this work themselves. But he has not done this alone. Rather, he has labored through numerous Puritan works in order to bring together the best of their insights on meditation. Standing on the shoulders of these giants, Saxton teaches us how to meditate on divine truth and gives valuable guidance about how to rightly pattern our thinking throughout the day. meditation
overall I like the book. I think some of the authors points are repetitive. I would prefer a book with less then for it to be repetitive in order to have more. The topic is an important one. I struggled to finish it and ended up skipping some sections.
I might revisit those sections at a different time.

This book is a “God-Send” for Christians in this day and age .... and the future!!! I am set back on course with my “first ❤️ love”.
There are SO MANY books 📚 you won’t have to read because this book is many rolled into one. I love the way this author writes and explains things simply. I devoured it in less than 24 hours and I am excited to read it again and take priceless notes this time.

A Most Necessary Joy for The Christ Follower!
What a wonderful menu of Christian delights that encourage the believer, instruct the believer, and equip the believer in learning to enjoy the Godhead and become a more authentic servant of our Lord in this world! It provided for me both low hanging fruit as well as the challenge to reach higher for the fruit just beyond one’s reach of faith.
