Great ending

A great ending to such a fun story. I couldn't put it down and I love the way the author made sure to wrap up even the tiniest little details.

Another great read in this series and a much-needed getaway from reality with lots of laughs!
Even if you've never met Verity, Frankie the gangster ghost, local law Ellis and his horrid mother, you've still got to enjoy this! Ellis's mother calls him to a murder scene and looks guilty as sin. That starts a sequence of events originally caused by a blackmailing hairdresser, continued by her daughter who is the murder victim now. Lots of fallout on all this! Meanwhile back at Verity's home, Frankie has brought home a ghostly racehorse (and other farm animals) because he is bored. Let the madness begin!
Not an unbiased review because I absolutely love the real star of this series--Lucille Desiree Long AKA Lucy, Verity's pet skunk!
I'm not sure about stand-alone quality since I am addicted to this series, but I think that it should do.

my favorite fun series

I usually read nonfiction, but Angie's southern ghost series is such fun, I cannot resist them. The reader is perfect, the characters well developed & evolving, and unlike many mysteries, she often surprises me with the plot twists. I only wish her fictional small TN was real so I could visit! Give this series a listen- you won't regret it!

Narration is the best!

So fun to listen to the series. Tavia Gilbert does a fantastic job representing Ms. Fox’s stories!

Great narration

Good addition to the series. Can't wait for the next one. Love Verity and Ellis. Seems like this book set up for a shift in the series arc. Narrator does a great job. Pacing and voices for the series well.

No spoilers

This was a really fun listen. Gilbert did a fantastic job with the narration she knows how to bring a book to life you add that to Fox and ability to write a fun story you get a grand slam can't wait for more.

just love this series. i listen to it via my alexa before bed and now my husband is getting into it. he asks me every night, "can we listen to our book! " fun book for everyone to read!
