The Gift of the Witch is a short but sweet book with a little bit of bad luck.
For Clay and Addy, one of Keating Hollow’s original couples, things are not going very well. Ruined batches of beer, an accident and an unexplained illness has them on edge.
I love revisiting the lives of couples from previous books. It’s like catching up with old friends.
I highly recommend this book and Gabra Zackman was amazing as always.

Visting Old Friends!

What a great short story! I loved that we were able to return to Abby and Clay and get a bigger update on their life together. As they are living their happily ever after, a series of unfortunate events begin to happen. Just bad luck or a curse? This book entertains and keeps ypu guessing. Gabra Zackman did a fabulous job bringing this story to life!

So great to be back with old friends!

Keating Hollow is such a magical town. And it is great to be back with the characters who started it all, Abby and Clay. I suspect in the next several novellas Deanna Chase will focus on the other Townsend sisters and how their lives and loves have progressed since their focus in the original series. Deanna has done some beautiful and subtle world building. And her character development and relationships are unmatched. Gabra Zackman is a creative and talented narrater. It truly is magical listening to this entire series and know exactly who is speaking at any given moment. It makes these amazing stories pure joy to listen to.

Abby and Clay back again!

This is a great follow up to see how the Happily ever after is working out for Abby and Clay. Abby wants to start making some new brews and there is an accident at the brewery so it was now or never for her experiments.. I love that we get to revisit Abby and Clay and even though they are in the other books I love this series, it’s nice to see them in the spotlight again. I love Gabra Zackman's take on these characters! Great narration!

Loved it!

I was so excited to hear more of Clay and Abby’s story. This was such a wonderful look into how their love story continues. My only complaint is I wish it was longer, I want another full novel about them.
I’m so excited to hear more of the happily ever afters.

catching up

I am so happy to have this book. I love all the stories in this series, but I absolutely loved revisiting early stories and seeing where they are. It is like catch-up with old friends. There is enough mystery to keep you interested, and good characters to keep you smiling.

Wonderful start for HEA

Gift of the Witch is a sweet feel good story. While it probably could stand alone, I was glad to have listened to Abby’s prior and already knew the characters. This story brought the family more together and was just a great listen. Gabra Zackman once again brought the magic of the story forward and made for an easy listen.

Loved it!

I was so happy to return back to this world and revisit Clay and Abby. I’m so giddy!! I didn’t realize when I started that this was a novella and it was over before I knew it. But it was a good but twisty paranormal read. I was shocked to discover who was behind the curse. Gabra Zackman, does a wonderful job portraying all of the characters. The tones and inflections used were great. I can’t wait to see what’s in store next!

Catch up with Abby & Clay

This novella brings us back to Abby & Clay & what has been happening in their lives.
Deanna doesn’t disappoint & along with Gabra Zachman’s narration it is really a fun listen.
I am looking forward to seeing additional novellas for more of Keating Hollow’s favorite characters.
