The Rear Admiral and The Doctor

After the death of her father, Doctor Bailey Willow fled California from her abusive husband with only the thought of disappearing forever. Bailey makes her way to the Philippines hoping to find her mother who abandoned her at birth. The villagers refusal to help her in her search was compounded by the attack and occupation of the Japanese Imperial Army starting the war in the Pacific Theater in 1941. On a small remote island at the time of the attack, Bailey decided that it was the perfect place to give her refuge from her past. She didn't count on how the war would change her life.
