It’s been two years since professional ghost-whisperer Holly Daniels ghosted Callum Jefferies – successful paranormal podcast host, unsuccessful boyfriend. So when he reaches out asking for her help investigating the infamous East Mill haunted house, Holly is hesitant to get involved, despite his infuriating charm. But the house in question calls to her, and she can’t resist.
When they arrive in East Mill – and take up adjoining rooms at a rundown bed and breakfast – something in the air stirs up old feelings. If only the local ghosts would give Holly some peace and quiet to work out what those feelings are…
As their investigation unfolds, Holly and Callum unearth a string of mysterious deaths linked to the house – one of which is bound up with East Mill’s very own seventeenth-century witch trials. But Callum is hiding something, and as disturbing details emerge about the family who once occupied the house, Holly realises she will have to put her life – and her psychic powers – on the line if she and Callum are going to get out of East Mill alive.

‘A perfect blend of spooky and romantic. Lovers of paranormal romance will devour this.’ (Alexandra Almond, author of Thoroughly Disenchanted)
'Equal parts heart-racing thrills and heartwarming moments, it gave me all the best kinds of chills. Amy Hutton is a master of spooky romance.' (Karina May, author of That Island Feeling)
‘Spooky, swoony and sexy, Ghosted made me want to believe (in love).’ (Jodi McAlister, author of An Academic Affair)
‘A delicious second-chance romance with a ghostly twist. It’s an episode of Paranormal Investigations but with more sass and the Winchester boy of your dreams. A spooky delight!’ (Steffanie Holmes, author of Fangs for Nothing)

But the narrator everything this so much worse. She sounded like a high schooler asked to read aloud in class. Her cadence and enunciation left something to be desired and she mispronounced several words including pho, covered, & hovered.
Her breathing was so loud it was like someone was breathing next to my ear, and there were random background noises in several chapters - pages turning, items being dropped/moved around, etc.
There were also several instances where she re-recorded a sentence or phrase without the previous take being removed so she ended up just repeating the same sentence.
I honestly regret wasting a credit on this book.
The narrator was terrible
