Australian version
Was just slightly difficult to listen to. The reader speaks with a strong Australian accent and I found myself getting irritated.
But after awhile, my mind became somewhat acclimated to it, and adjusted to listening to the concepts presented rather than being distracted by the reader.
No disrespect intended.
I suppose it would be akin to trying to listen to someone’s impassioned response while expressing himself using the outmoded verbiage of Middle English (1100-1500) or even, perhaps, the archaic expressions of Old English (450-1150), which include various dialects (of English), which are incomprehensible today. Certain to be a unique auditory curiosity, even droll, if one doesn’t first lose their mind. (At least from the point of view of a modern American audience… ok, at least from MY point of view.)
Anyways, once I became somewhat more acclimated to it, I focused in on what was actually a lot of good and useful material.
But beware, and try not to throw your phone across the room.
But yes, a book absolutely worth spending some time with.
