Even before Leslie McGee went off to college and then law school, she had a heavy crush on her older brother Thomas’ best friend, Trevor Martin. And not that one could blame her. Trevor Martin was not only good-looking, but he was a star athlete at the high school in Madsen, Texas before going on to some fame as a college football star, and then becoming an attorney.

But this was not just any crush: when Leslie was eighteen, the three year older Trevor had teasingly threatened to take her across his knees and give her a spanking when she had grabbed his credit card and jokingly threatened to go shopping with it.

Ever since that day, Leslie had fantasized about the spanking that never happened, her imagination embellishing “what could have been” over the course of time. But unknown to her, she was not the only one who regretted that the threat had not been carried out.

Finally, the day comes when, as a full-fledged twenty-five-year-old attorney, she encounters Trevor Martin in the courtroom. And things will never be the same again.
