Liam Caffrey was a good cop! Actually, he was a great cop. He and his partner Eddie Bertoni led their division in solutions rates. They were also two of LAPD's most decorated heroes. It was a real shock to everyone when they suddenly left the force to open Caffrey Investigations. Liam was also the son of Seán Caffrey the founder and CEO of Caffrey Life Sciences, one of the largest corporations on the west coast. Then in January of 2017, Seán got into his classic Rolls in the front driveway of the Caffrey home the driver started the car and it exploded in a massive fireball. Later that same year his younger brother, who succeeded his father as CEO of Caffrey, was violently assaulted outside corporate headquarters. Now Liam and Eddie must figure out who is behind these attacks and whether these incidents were attacks on the Caffrey empire or some sort of revenge against Liam himself? Then to add to the mystery, Liam received a desperate call for help from an old and dear friend that carried with it yet another surprise.
