Graphic stories for sensitive listeners

The method explanation was wonderful. The examples were powerful. Some of the stories are a bit detailed for sensitive listeners and can cause discomfort. The reading performance was excellent.

only one issue

my only issue was the revelation that a police officer admitted to molesting a minor and then received no jail time in addition to being allowed back into law enforcement in a different location. that is UNACCEPTABLE

it started a bit boring but more I read, the book gave more insights in negotiating. learned a lot how to prepare for negotiations.

Much of this book is covered in "Spy the Lie"

Much of the content of this book can be found in "Spy the Lie", which was not a surprise as it was said in the beginning that it would be the case. The performance was well done but the content of the book was at times tedious, but still interesting and educational. I have yet to put theses skills to use but I hope they are not needed any time soon.

Almost the Same Book

Would you listen to Get the Truth again? Why?

Yes, I like this book just like I liked Spy the Lie. I do however think that Spy the Lie was a better book and hearing the stories the first time around made it more interesting. This book could have been better if they added the two hours or new material to the old book and just made it an updated edition.
