Dookie is a friendly but hungry young dung beetle whose life revolves around poop. He eats poop, drinks poop, and even bathes in poop. At the end of the day, Dookie loves nothing more than to wash his hair with seagull poo in a nice warm bubble dung bath. Dookie and his best friend Turdy aren't fussy when it comes to eating poop. They'll devour unhealthy fast-poop from McDumps or fresh seapoo from Poopie Joe's Seapoo Shack. These poop-eating beetles will get poop however it's served!
Dookie's mom needs an elephant pooball to lay her eggs, so she asks her son to gather a big pooball from the jungle. The young dung beetle sets off on a quest to find the perfect egg-laying dung for his soon-to-be-born siblings. What follows is a hilarious, gross-out tale of searching for the elusive poop while resisting the urge to eat it! Along the way, Dookie meets new friends and learns to navigate the sleazy but seductive Night Dung Market with its rare and exotic poop from around the world.
Meanwhile, Dookie's adventures take another turn when he forgets to lock the gates of stool school, and it gets overtaken by a mob of gangsters who turn the school into a poop casino. Now Al Capoop and his gang own the school, and Dookie is to blame. Determined to redeem himself and win back his school, his friends, and the respect of his teacher, Dookie calls on the help of Brownie, his older, streetwise cousin. Brownie agrees to help under one condition: that Dookie joins him on a diaper mission—the riskiest, most lucrative business for a dung beetle. These missions are dangerous, but Dookie is determined to see them through.
