A beautiful touching story that kept you engaged throughout. And the narrator was such a pleasure to listen to!

Have tissues ready

Another Suzanne Kelman masterpiece. I felt like I was present in the story due to the exceptional description of characters, environment, and the emotions. Multiple love stories, a little mystery, and WWII history; what more do you need? I enjoyed the writing style of the different time period with intertwining stories. Similar to “When We Were Brave” my favorite Suzanne Kellman novel.

Enjoyable

It was interesting to see spies from another perspective, but I wish their story had more depth and details.
