Acerca de esta escucha
Ryan James, the ultimate 10-year-old gamer, belongs to a PlayStation club at school. But the PS club isn’t your average after-school hangout. It's a secret gateway to other dimensions!
Ryan and his PS gang are about to level up in ways they never imagined in the Game on Boys series. Forget ordinary adventures—this is an epic quest where reality and pixels collide!
Hold onto your controllers because in the first four books, Ryan and the gang find themselves in all sorts of action-packed, spine-tingling, gravity-defying quests. From intergalactic showdowns to grizzly bear face-offs, and frenzied mob battles, they're not just playing games—they're living them.
In the first instalment, The PlayStation Playoffs, Ryan’s joystick jamboree takes a cosmic twist when he’s abducted by suspected aliens on the day of the PlayStation playoffs Grand final. Can his awesome gaming skills save him from an intergalactic showdown?
In the next instalment, Minecraft Madness, a grizzly skirmish on the family camping trip makes for real life survival action. Forget marshmallows—Ryan comes face to face with a grizzly bear with a taste for adventure, (and possibly a taste for his sister also). Survival mode: activated. But can he outwit the wild beast in time to save a drowning puppy in a raging river?
NO Girls Allowed, the third book, introduces a PlayStation thief at the same time as tomboy Elly moves to town. When Ryan’s PlayStation disappears, he dons his detective hat to solve the crime, but he’s convinced he already knows who the thief is. With her deceptive smile and fake niceties, Is Elly the console culprit, or is there more to this pixelated puzzle?
And finally, the action gets totally pixelated in Minecraft Superhero when Ryan battles endermen, creepers, and a few zombies. When he desperately needs a superhero to get him out of this blocky nightmare, there’s only one thing that he can do to save himself and everyone in the village.
But wait—is it all just a dream? Or has he actually been sucked into the game? Reality blurs, pixels pulse, and adventure awaits.
Life Lessons and Extra Lives
Parents, rejoice! Amidst the pixelated chaos, there are hidden power-ups. Ryan learns about teamwork, empathy, kindness, helping others, and the importance of family. Plus, he discovers that sometimes the greatest adventures happen when you unplug.
So grab your virtual backpack, collect your courage points, and join Ryan on spine-tingling, hair-raising quests. Because when the pixels align, anything is possible.
REVIEWS
This is the most amazing series I have ever read!
I love how you put so much detail in it!
My son is dyslexic and is not a fan of reading but his English teacher told him to try to read more. He's a fan of video games so I thought this would be a good start and he really enjoyed it!
This was a good book. I liked it a lot and hope to read more of your excellent books. Stay the awesomest author ever!!
Had my Grandson in stitches. He couldn't put it down. Even at bed time and lights out he sat reading this book by torch light, great story easy for them to read and great fun to read to the children. Lots of fun and great gift.
Ideal read for those younger boys who need more challenging reading books
I love the Game on Boys series. I love this book. It made me laugh out loud. I am glad that Kate Cullen added a girl character Elly, because girls love to play video games too. Game on Boys 3 was a great story that is a quick and easy read.
My 11yr old son loves these books and number 3 is as good as the first one. Funny story that he can relate to and has a good moral lesson for kids.
