The Admiral had already confided in Allura that the powers-that-be had grand designs for her future. But before these plans could unfold, she needed to show she was capable of commanding more than the Sisterhood.

To that end, she is teamed with the infamous Voss’s Vipers, a black ops team that the Aerianna government denies exists. Much to the Vipers chagrin, they find themselves under Allura’s command.

Their mission is to eliminate the threat posed by the self-appointed Lord Veldon who has gained unimaginable power from an ancient artifact. The Vipers had previously tried but failed paying the ultimate price with the loss of one of their own.
Now the two teams will attempt to finish the mission.

Not everyone will survive. A psychopath with such power is a formidable opponent.

But even the grimmest mission can have a bright spot. In this case it’s King Madriq Maxilon, otherwise known as Mad Max. He and Allura find a little private time to explore a mutual attraction.

All this is merely a prelude to the ultimate showdown. The enigmatic figure known as Galaxia has declared war on the Sisterhood. What no one realizes is that Syxx, the rogue AI, has infiltrated Galaxia’s body. It is Syxx that wants a forever war . . . an eternal conflict that will push humanity to its limits on both sides of the battlefield.

As always in war, there’s a price to pay. In this case it’s Allura’s soul mate. No, not Mad Max. The law of unintended consequences has brought her the man of her dreams. At least, for a short while.
