This is read by a robot and it feels like it

I was going for a simple and easy holiday read. I liked the story and missed that this was read by AI. It was clear right after I started listening that something was off, and that’s when I realized. I powered through, but it was painful. I didn’t even realize AI narration was a thing. And this feels very much like a story read by a robot. In addition to that, as an audiobook it misses the mark in storytelling and I’m pretty sure chapters 14-18 are just alternate endings with the same basic storyline. Pretty annoying to listen to that back to back. There are so many baking puns that it gets old. All in all- I liked the idea here, but execution feels lazy and inauthentic.
