Out of Time

We are always building better telescopes to see farther and farther into the universe. We are a species that has to know what's out there. Realizing that we are always looking into the past, some stars and planets we can see really far away may not even be there now. I had always speculated that the only way we could ever accomplish interstellar travel would be to go from here to there without having to traverse the full distance from here to there. Coupling that with the notion of time travel into the past yields some interesting issues...
