Great story, Hated the AI voice

It is a great story, but the AI voice narrating was horrible, I wish they would have used a real person. I defiantly wont listen to another story with AI voice.

Frontier Kindred, a new Jacoby masterpiece!

Having recently read Chris Jacoby’s newest book, Frontier Kindred, I was genuinely delighted to learn it’s available as an Audiobook through Audible. The reader is AI, and for a relatively new independent author, I’m incredibly grateful to have this book in audio form. I love reading, but there’s something special about listening—throwing on my headphones and letting this beautifully emotional story of love and resilience unfold, even at a relaxed pace of 1.2x.

The AI narration makes the work accessible to those who are visually impaired or constantly on the go, which is a wonderful gift that broadens who can experience this story. While the voice isn’t a traditional human narrator, its clarity and steady emotional pacing still convey the book’s heart, and I deeply appreciate the author’s commitment to accessibility and innovation.
