Beautifully written

This was my first novel that I read by L.M. Carr. I really love how she writes. She writes with such emotion and Pulls you into the story. I was on such an emotional roller coaster throughout the entire story from blind rage on Kerry’s behalf to all our sobbing and joy. I love that things were so well explained and there was a fare bit of foreshadowing to keep you engaged. I’m really looking forward to listening to the next novel she’s written.

Amazing, Emotional

LM Carr starts this novel with strong emotions, doesn't let up throughout, and finishes the same way. She manages to take some really tough subjects and meld them into an amazing experience.

This is Karrie and Tyler's story although it doesn't start out that way. Karrie is married but things are falling apart. She does not recognize that man as the one she fell in love with and married. Tragedy strikes and she is faced with more turmoil than she ever expected. Regrettably, she turns to her husband's best friend Tyler for answers. The tension and hatred she felt for Tyler is confusing as she learns that her husband was not at all the man she thought he was. In the process, she also learns that Tyler is not the man she believed he was either.

LM Carr hit a home run with this one. The reader gets to experience frustration, anger, fear, sorrow, despair, hope, joy, and love all in one book. The narration was also great. I enjoyed the cadence at which it was read. Definitely recommend From A Distance as your next read or listen.

Intense Ride!!!!

This one will rip you apart and put you back together five times over. Its a little slow in the beginning but its laying the foundation for the story. But these two have a lot to overcome continually to get to their HEA. Holy MOLY!

Avie did a fantastic job bringing this intense story to life!

From A Distance

This story was an angst filled emotional story that will pull on the heartstrings and in the end fill your heart with so much joy. It was unexpected but a happy surprise especially in my ears. I listened to this story and was pleasantly surprised with Avie Paige’s narration. It pulled me in and kept me listening throughout the day. And great surprise with the epilogue and the narration of Bruce Paige.

LM Carr weaved a story with emotion, anger, frustration, love and hope. With each new chapter another secret was revealed and even though I could anticipate the next I was still intrigued. A beautiful emotional journey.

Be sure to start this book when you can listen uninterrupted!

This book kept me up all night! It was a great story. Definitely, goi g to want to read this!!! It had so much emotion. Such a crazy ride. Heartbreaking to heartwarming.
And Avie Paige did Amazing with narration! I had to double check that there was only one narrator because the voices were so distinct.
I highly recommend this book!!

5 Stars are not enough

I have never listened to a book that has made me as emotional as I am right now after finishing it. The depth of the emotions of the narrator and the tragedies the characters had to deal have me in awe. I had to stop it and walk away a few times. Wow, I am still shaking. You have got to listen to this book!!

Suspenseful romance

The narrator was really good. The story had love, suspense, tragedy and motorcycles, what more can you ask for.

A romantic social drama story

The story was too dramatic for me. I found myself getting too many times emotional especially towards the end. I think I specially in the middle of the story that they were too many unnecessary details given prolonging without any obvious reason the story.

I have to admit that the story was unique but really it was too too dramatic so be ware before reading it.

As for the performance of the actors reading the story, I found them very compliant with what I had in mind as the stars of the book. Nice choose of voices.
