Charles "CW" Hall
From Story Idea to Reader is an easily accessible guide to writing fiction. Whether you are brushing up on your writing skills or starting out, this book will take you through the whole process from inspiration to conclusion. No matter if you are looking to submit your work for publication, enter a competition, or want to self-publish, this practical guide will help you every step of the way.
Between them, Patsy Collins and Rosemary Kind have sold hundreds of short stories, written 16 published books, and produced numerous articles for Writing Magazine and similar publications. They've both judged writing competitions and run workshops, and Rosemary has read and edited thousands of short stories and published dozens of books for other writers.
With the information, help and encouragement in this book, you too could see your work in print.

✍️ The title is a bit confusing to me but I found this book to be an encyclopedia for a writer.
Some of the highlights:
1. Short, focused ;chapters
2. Summary and exercises at the end of each chapter
3. Glossary
I found that speeding up the audio made the narration better.
This is the 3rd or 4th book that I have listened to about writing and/or audiobook creation in the past 4 or 5 months. I think it is helpful and may be inspiring for those who are considering writing a book.
I recommend listening to this with a pen and notebook (or the electronic version) in hand to jot down notes.

What did you love best about From Story Idea to Reader?
I like the straightforward manner that the information was presented. It was thorough without being overly padded. Many books like this will repeat themselves in different ways to get the page count up.What does Charles "CW" Hall bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He did a solid job reading the book. His pacing and modulation were comfortable for listening.Any additional comments?
I think that the book could be improved by including a PDF with the exercises etc. It is difficult to transcribe this information when driving, exercising, and doing other tasks - the way I listen.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
Helpful book. Actionable advice.

If you could sum up From Story Idea to Reader in three words, what would they be?
Helpful for beginnersAny additional comments?
I found this to be helpful in looking at the everyday world as a source of inspiration. The text seems to read more like an interview you would see in a magazine or newspaper. At first it was a little hard to follow until I realized this. After that the information was very good.

A lot like an interview
