Author did a courageous job of allowing the reader into every facet of her life. She's truly an amazing person.

Outstanding Story of Resilience and Recovery

I personally know the author, but wasn't aware of her past trials and how they have shaped her. I laughed, I cried, and I prayed with each dramatic event. Even in the most traumatic circumstances, she was abke to crack a humorous response (a gift from her mother) and pray to God for grace and mercy - not only for herself, but also for those around her. I have tremendous respect for the Van Oorts.
