Loving Wildfire

Jewel E. Ann did it again, and Wildfire is quickly becoming a favorite series of mine. I knew going into this I was going to love Marren, from the first book, From Air, her sassy personality and all the banter but I didn’t realize what a match of a man she was going to find, oh Ozzy! Ozzy surprised me in the best way. Someone who has gone thru the unthinkable, being a responsible single dad with the weight of the world on his shoulders he is also fun and flirty and I was grinning so many times throughout this journey. And Lola, sweet Lola Ozzy’s adorable little girl stole the show. This incredible 9 year old (who happens to be the same age as my son) had me laughing out loud at some of the similar conversations we have in our house. On a serious note, this little girl has been through it, but she has so much love surrounding her you know in the end she is going to thrive. The narration was so wonderful, I loved the combo of both Benjamin Sands and Amy McFadden, feeling their smiles behind the sweet flirting, the truthful moment and the banter with sassy little Lola. This was truly a gem to listen to on audio and follow along on KU.

So much great emotion

This book was well written with deep emotion that tore me apart and put me back together. The narrators were amazing at bringing the book to life.

I just love this author!

The narration gets a 10/10 from me.
But THE BOOK was AMAZING.

I love this author and I will read anything by her.

This book was so special and I love ALL the characters, but Lola was my favorite. Watching the little girl conquer her fears was the most beautiful part of this book.

Everything Jewel E. Ann writes is magic. I devoured this audiobook. The story, the narration, loved it.

BRILLIANT

I liked book 1. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

But man. I LOVED THIS ONE MORE.

Every single thing about this book was brilliant. I loved Maren in book 1 and getting to really know her in this one was fantastic. She is so witty, sassy, and resilient. I loved how she was so open with Ozzy.

Speaking of Ozzy… holy hot single dad, batman. Say whaaaaat!!! That man was just so freaking perfect. 😍 He had me seeing hearts the entire freaking time. Dont get me started on how much I loved the scenes with him and Lola. Be still my heart!! And the whole flowers thing? Swoon!!

Now, let’s talk about THE COOLEST 10year old to ever be written. Lola. She was soooo funny and SO smart! Gosh, she was my favorite character. Along with Bandit of course. 🐈

Sigh. This book was just SO FREAKING GOOD.

I got the audiobook and all I wanted to do was listen and listen. Until I finished it and now I regret not slowing down because…what now? Ugh. Total book hangover. The narrators, Benjamin Sands and Amy McFadden did a fantastic job with the story.

Overall, this book was pure magic. Go grab your copy.

I absolutely loved this book! It made me laugh, cry, and swoon. 10/10! Jewel E Ann is one of my favorite authors and she did not disappoint with this one. I can’t wait to hear Will’s story next!

Ozzy 🥹🥹🥹🥹

I thought Fitz and Jamie was an amazing story- but Maren and Ozzy have had me laughing, crying (happy and sad tears). Such an amazing story

4.5 heartbreakingly beautiful stars!

Gah! Ozzy is just so sweet and awkward and caring—unsure how best to navigate being a widower, a single parent living with his in-laws, and a man who is excited to explore a relationship with Maren. And Maren is so strong but she also is nervous and giddy with Ozzy. It’s just another perfect installment of the series. It has all the heart, heat, witty banter, and just two imperfect people trying to figure out a way to make their spark burn and last forever.

The narration is perfection -- the narrators truly bring the characters to life!
