Timor Goksel teaches at the American University of Beirut. He discusses life in Lebanon and the unintended consequences of the war between Isreal and Hezbollah which began one year ago.
Then, Kasi Lemmons, whose new film, Talk to Me, is about the radio DJ, television personality, and activist Ralph Waldo "Petey" Greene Jr. He was a driving force in the black community of Washington D.C. (Actor Don Cheadle plays Petey in the film.) Also, Dewey Hughes, the program director for the radio station WOL-AM in D.C. who first hired Petey. [Broadcast Date: July 12, 2007]
