Last January it was the subject of an inquiry by the Senate commerce committee because of claims that Clear Channel "bullies artists, replaces local programming with automated formats and uses hard-nosed tactics against competitors." John Hogan is the CEO of Clear Channel Radio, a part of Clear Channel Worldwide, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. It includes TV stations, outdoor advertising displays and live entertainment productions and venues throughout the US and in 65 countries around the world.
