Filmmaker Jim Jarmusch and author John Irving on this archival edition of Fresh Air. Jarmusch often acts as writer, director, and producer of his films. His works include: Ghost Dog, Stranger than Paradise, Down by Law, Mystery Train, Night on Earth, and Year of the Horse. Prize-winning author John Irving turned his novel, The Cider House Rules, into a movie. Irving writes about this experience in My Movie Business, A Memoir.
