Riveted read even when working out.

Loved it !!!!!! Anne's stories keeps my attention doesn't matter where or when. I have never been disappointed in any of her worlds.

Wonderful narration of good story

These narrators are AWESOME -- separating male & female voices. The story is satisfying but mite predictable & sexist than the first two.

Interesting and Different

Where does Freedom's Challenge rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I particularly like Anne McCaffrey books and this is as good as her Pern series. I think she could have gone on and added to this series.

Another winner!

Always good, but still have issues with the male speaker. As previously stated in another review, he is too laconic, and not enough difference between personae. The woman nailed it. Various dialects, etc were spot on. Excellent story.

great performance

The story is a late McCaffrey to a tee. The performance is amazing, using male and female voice actors that express the emotion of the dialog perfectly.

Excellent readers. I much prefer the use of two readers to do male and female voices rather than depend solely on one reader.

I enjoyed the slow, methodical pace of world building narrative with occasional moments of suspense and drama. If you’re addicted to high speed chases, constant nerve wracking suspense and lots of blood and mayhem, you will most likely be bored. I’ve read nearly all of Anne McCaffrey’s books and the Dragonriders series has been a lifelong favorite. Like Dragonriders, this series reflects McCaffrey’s efforts to create a better society with highly imperfect species. We should all be willing to embrace that effort.
