Roc has spent the last fourteen years of his life in prison for crimes he didn’t commit. Over the years, he missed seeing his one and only son grow up and lost his mother. After being released, there’s one thing on his mind: piecing his life back together as best as he can.

Leah works as a Transition Specialist at South Mississippi Community Development Center, helping newly-released men and women get a new lease on life. The work she does is her life, as she’s been burned badly before and no longer trusts her own instincts when it comes to men and relationships.

Can two people who have been locked in cycles of misery and despair find the freedom to love, or will they be forever imprisoned in their minds?
